Two newly published papers from the group worth highlighting:

  1. Low Overhead Quantum Bus with Coupling beyond the Nearest Neighbor via Mediated Effective Capacitance

From Yariv Yanay: using experience from our long-running work with MIT designing superconducting qubit arrays for quantum many-body physics…how to make new types of qubit couplers and buses without a lot of wires.

  1. Quantum Computation by Spin Parity Measurements with Encoded Spin Qubits

From Matt Brooks: more progress on more efficient measurement-based gate-based quantum computing on encoded spin qubits…here explicitly showing how to use recently experimentally demonstrated spin-parity measurements to perform an encoded two qubit gate while minimizing leakage.

Both ideas worth trying out!
