Over the next five years, I believe we can make more progress towards a useful quantum computer than we have achieved in the last 25. To make that vision a reality, we need to bring the best ideas, people, and tools together, to achieve more than we thought possible. That’s why it was so exciting to announce today alongside Gov. Wes Moore, UMD President Darryll Pines, and Microsoft Executive Vice President Jason Zander at #QuantumWorldCongress that #Microsoft will open a new, partner-focused quantum research center in one such crucible of innovation, the Discovery District in College Park, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. We are proud to be part of the #CapitalofQuantumInitiative. Read more about how this new partnership will accelerate quantum innovation in our #MicrosoftontheIssues post at https://aka.ms/MarylandQuantum (copy on this site) and come find me at #QWC25 to learn more!
